ok, i hella wanna be a rogue, but i dont know which stat to put in, agi or str. i wanna be a damaging rogue like i was in WoW but this game eats WoW. please note, ive been fading in and out since the beginning of planeshift. also i wanna know, what character class deals most damage (pk wise). i like to go in with teams and let my boys do the dmg while i WHOMP THE HELL OUTTA THINE ENEMIES so if mages or warriors deal more dmg, please tell, elaborate and tell me which type (if mage, youre gunna have to tell more, please).
thank you so much, repliers.

There are no classes in PlaneShift :) We have a skill-based system: you train and use whatever you want (if it works). PlaneShift is also nowhere near completion, so many skills are currently unavailable. Check this thread (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=25012.0) for what works and what doesn't.
Magic is a bit underpowered at the moment. You will have better luck with some weapons.
However, please keep in mind that PlaneShift is not a combat-oriented or PvP game. You are here to roleplay, not to fight without reason :)

if its just effective combat you want short swords and dagger bost the most and are easy to come by. added crystal way to the character {most do} you are a versitile fighter both at range and at close qauters. but be aware the system is nothing like normal games and stats dont really dertimine winners of fights. you must have time and keep your head when everything kicks of.

you misunderstood my question..i wanted to know what made backstab (when its on) and daggers hurt gooder as well, please reply, agility, str or something else?
-
There is no backstab at the moment. The amount of damage you inflict depends on the level of your skill (Knives&Daggers, Swords, Axes, etc.) and partly on your Strength. Agility determines your dodge and attack rate, and Endurance affects your stamina.
-
but which way do i wanna go for damage? agility or strenght?
-
The actual skill of your weapon. If you're going to use daggers, you will have to train the Knives&Daggers skill. If you're using a sword, train the Sword skill.
