Title: making UIs

ok, if im right, im allowed to mess with the UI as much as it doesnt rly affect the game.  (btw nice job making an easily alterable UI, top scores to you in that)

so..what program could make icons that dont show their background as white in the game?

GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) should allow you to save as .PNGs - just make sure you have no white background when you're saving. Good luck and have fun :)

im gunna smash my head in..i first tried with macromedia 8 then putting it in jpg..im such a noob i didnt realise to put it in THE SAME FILE TYPE AS YOU GUYS USE..just wow..wow.  im good to go again, tKoF.

Yes you can.

But what you probably shouldn't be doing is making a new thread every time you have a new question. Merged this with your "Making UIs."

wow..your guy's UI adaption is very good.  i can make translucent windows and stuff.  very nice (and i dont meanw ith like the chat how you can right click it, i mean like if i watned, the item window would be halfway, full or partly see-thru or fading from one side to another)  very impressive, devs.

by the way, i use macromedia flash 8 pro to make my UIs, not gimp.  (just to give props to adobe, not to advertise, gimp is much better if you dont know what youre doing)
