Okay, I installed the correct version of Planeshift, and everything was working fine until i got to select a character to play on, and try to connect. This is the message i get:
Something unexpected has happened in Planeshift: Crystal Blue
Details: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 691E69C9
Would you like to save a diagnostic file?
Yes No
What does this mean? If i click yes, I get:
Saved dump file to the (folder and stuff, can't be bothered to type it out)
Please consult Planeshift fourms for more details.
Once I click off or okay on that message, the Planeshift client freezes, causing me to shut it down.
...so here I am!
Help?

Hello sir.
Have you tried to reconnect? i got sometimes this message too but i dont bother as when i retry, i log without problems.
-
How do I do that?
-
Does this happen with every character you create, or just one? And have you tried reinstalling the game?
-
Tried re-installing several times.
Have had no luck, but have only created one character, but I doubt its that to be honest. =/

isn't 69x... 1 of thouse nvidia gfx card errors? maybe all he needs are new drivers, just a guess
-
So, I need a new graphics card to run it do you think?
-
Perhaps all you need is to turn on Vertex Buffer in pssetup.exe :]
-
How do I do that? Sorry, I've never heard of it =P
-
Run pssetup.exe from your PS install directory, and turn on Vertex Buffer ;)
-
Can I be dumb and ask where the Ps install diretory is? :-[
-
Wherever you installed PlaneShift :) By default, this should be C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue.
-
Ooh, that makes so much sence, thankyou! :D
I've turned it on, lets try lol!

Look in that folder and find the file pssetup.exe - run it, then make sure Vertex Buffer is on:
