Title: Character Change
Post by: DevotedEternal on March 10, 2003, 11:39:54 pm
i am unhappy with my current character, is there anyway i can either edit that characters appearance or transfer the guild and player information to a new character? if not, then could a server admin possibly do me a favor and transfer the stuff? if not, its understandable, im sure the devs have better things to do

Your character will be wiped anyways so it doesn\'t really matter

I suggest you make a new character and get a friend to help you transfer the stuff over.  That is what games like this are all about. :-)

haha, I am very familiar with that \'having a friend transfer stuff for you\'. It\'s just too bad that there isn\'t some way to make like a storage vault, where you could put in a password to leave/take items whenever you want. I\'m sure it probably wouldn\'t be possible though.  :(

Making enough vaults for everyone to store items in (that could be used universally with all of that players characters) could be more of a headache than making it possible for everyone to have a house. But just a little idea that came to mind when I read this.

You could when I was playing Helbreath before it went P to P and i was waiting for Plane Shift there was a storage house if i remember and a guy stood in the corner (an NPC) and you gave your stuff to him so you didn\'t feel up your inventory this could be used in Plane Shift except you could password your stuff you give to the guy so people from your Clan/Giuld could accses it as well as a freind or a new character you\'ve made this would also fix the problem of there being 2000 lockers and your standing there trying to figure out which one is yours.
