Helo PS Team i was just wondering is the site wanted a chat room. for i have a number of them available on my site and i think this community would beinfit alot from one.

it's just a suggestion though.

hope you say yes ^^ would be nice to know my server is being used mby meny not just me..

you do? oh.. well me and i exspect alot of others find IRC hard to use.. :si guess just being able to get onto one from a simple adress would be more user fraindly?

IRC is a piece of cake to use, actually :) Especially since we even have a guide (http://www.planeshift.it/irc.html) on the main website. We already have an official PS chatroom, so another one really won't be necessary.

#planeshift on qwaeknet? I thought PS was a MMORPG, not a mappack for Qwaek...  >o)

#Planeshift is a piece of something, but it ain't cake.  I think another chatroom with a different atmosphere and style would be wonderful.

People are free to make more (as they have already done), but we're not going to keep official track of them all nor advertise them.

Does the PS team need another chatroom?
No, we already have an established base of chatrooms on Freenode.

Can I make another chatroom anyway?

The guy wanted not to provide an official chat in particular but to provide one in general for the benefit of the community since he wasn't aware that any existed.

I dislike IRC very much, dont ask me for a specific reason because I dont have one. I have used it on and off for more years than I care to mention, and have never felt at home there.

I would say - Go for it Mufler, lets see what you come up with ;)
