Has the server been down for the past few days?  If not, I am not able to log onto the server.  I get to the load world screen, then a message comes up that says "something unexpected happened in planeshift: Crystal Blue Details: EXCEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION at
00469F93."  Also, is there a difference between the Planeshift Tech Demo and the regular game?

What would be your character's name?  It could be that it is crashing when it tries to load the world at where your character is.  Moving your character might fix this.

This game is in development, so the tech demo is the regular game.

Okay, It's still not working and it's been three days.  I tried creating a new character so it would load in Hydlaa, but the same thing happened.  I really don't want to lose my character, but I don't know what to do.  Could there be a problem with my client?  Any help would be much appreciated.

There are a couple of options available:

1. Try scaling your font to either 80% or 50% in pssetup - if it works and you can log into the game, you can change it back to the regular size afterwards.
2. Try reinstalling the game. Be sure to remove your current install completely when you do this.
