well, i finally learn to mine and know where to mine for coal and iron ore...but, dont know, where sell and what is 'good', 'standard', 'quick sell' prices for this resources. can you give me some hints?
harquist prices arent good for me :)

Well, there isn't a great demand for coal or iron on their own. Using metallurgy skills to make them into another product, and selling that to other players is an option. But there isn't a big player market for iron, coal, or steel. Sorry :( Some new players who are wishing to practice their metallurgist skills can use the products, but...

If you are looking for money you are better off mining gold. Only mine coal if you are going to use it or you have a buyer lined up. you can get a better price for iron from harnquist if you turn it into ingots but the increase is not really significant. Personally everything I mine/loot gets sold to the npc's because it is too much trouble trying to sell it to players unless of course someone asks me for something I happen to be carrying. That is just my philosophy, I am constantly broke because of it, I am sure.

Crafting is a big, ugly exploit fest at the moment. Nothing quite works in that region, just mine gold.
-
thank you guys. now i must find gold mining areas and learn to make something from coal and iron ore :)

Piniu: try here (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=28189.0)
And it's only the gold mining part of crafting that is being exploited (and even though, it's not exactly big and ugly). The rest of crafting is in a poor state (there's a thread in the Complaints Dept, link (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=28874.0)) And the gold mining situation is an improvement on Platinum. ::)
At least now there is a player-market for gold ore. The miners make a modest profit (over NPC price) selling it to the metallurgists, who make a similar profit. And it means Mining and Metallurgy skills get trained, and people discover there is more to life than killing things \\o//

no, crafting is the victim of greater exploits than you know quite unfortunately. It basically makes it impossible for any new player to become a smith and make a profit, and I'll just leave it at that as to not expose the bug to the ignorant.
Gold is working exactly as it's meant to for the time being. Without it, nobody would have the money to train anything.

You know, if you do find some "big exploit" that nobody knows, at least report it on the bugtracker (http://www.hydlaa.com/bugtracker/)so it can be fixed.
-
Or even better PM it directly to a Dev or GM involved, in this case either Tarel or TomT I believe.
-
I know that it's been brought up a number of times. Also, I have log in problems with bugtracker, so rather than face the paradox of reporting a bug in the bug tracker, I've decided to avoid it. :P
-
How's that going to help Planeshift. Just PM me then and I will report it.

So true, But I have seen some players pay 400 tria for iron ore.
