Title: Issue with stats.
Post by: Mhyrage on June 05, 2007, 07:15:52 am: Both strength trainers, none of the stats even show up on the list. Same with the endurance guy in the Arena. Other stats like Will and Agility show up on other trainers, but nothing on these. My strength is only 65. Also, strength raises damage, health, and weight capacity right? While endurance raises fatigue and...well just fatigue? I'd really like to get to training them up so I can mine better and actually damage the rogues outside of Ojadeva.

Post by: bilbous on June 05, 2007, 08:56:19 am: You might need to go look for a new trainer, perhaps elsewhere in town perhaps in another town. I do not think it is giving much away to tell you that trainers everywhere have a range of levels they can teach and if you are outside those levels, too high or too low, you cannot see what they teach.

Actually, I think there was something about a gaurd by the south gate too. Time to go to nearly every NPC in Hydlaa. I've already looked at everyone in Ojadeva.

Found both the ones I needed. ^.^ Got endurance up 15 levels before running out of my 5K. Gotta get strength up so I can carry more ore now.

Yes. The cat's out of the bag, now. You can ask any NPC who trains (stat) and get the response for the nearest newbie trainer of the appropriate stat...but ONLY the newbie trainer. We didn't add who trains (skill) because several trainers train skills and that would be a lot tougher. But I'll keep you posted come next release. We also didn't add the more advanced stat trainers because you should be able to figure it out. :)
