Strange particle clear Down to the Bottom, cascade b (http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2007/06/15/particle-new.html) at near speed of light. Is it certain atoms are bullet proof?

Depends on what we define as bullet. But I was referring to bullets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullet)as the ammo that is loaded on guns, so subatomic particles don't fit with it.

Duh-OH! Once again foiled by cheesy AD&D redefinition! What the heck is a sling bullet? a baby Bullette (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/MM35_gallery/MM35_PG30.jpg)? No, I guess it is just a small ball used as a projectile, something a sub-atomic particle may not qualify as even if it is used as a projectile.

I don't think there are weapons capable of firing projectiles that capable of provoking nuclear fission or fusion, and you can't use a particle accelerator as a rifle or mount it on a tank, destroyer, gunship, bomber or fighter, and anyway, and as I already said, in the context of the phrase, I was referring to bullets as the ammo used on firearms. And also, if it is so important, then I'm made of quarks, and quarks are bulletproof :P
Finally, provoking fission or fusion while being at 100 ft. of distance from a target is suicide, so atoms are still bulletproof from your wider definition of what is a bullet applied to practical contexts. :P

Does that mean you are strange (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strange_matter), too? Or doesn't it matter?

Bollocks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bollock_dagger)! it doesn't matter!

Does it get much stranger than this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkqZBiTajkg)?
Maybe in a Quark Star (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quark_star) which I think might look like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERbjTsaItLs). Kind of getting away from the science ... and the news for that matter!

Speaking about science news, I have something important people here might not know about yet
Behold Trekkies! The Time has Come to see teleporters in real life! (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3811785.stm)
For atoms...
