Can I use Q300 weapons or am I considered to use a bug? I know that my weapon was crafted in the time you could make a mastercrafted weapon without any practical training.
That means I made the weapon in a time where crafting didn't work as it should work.
Is it legal to use them now?
My next queston is: Is it legal to use this weapons as a original to craft a copy of it? Because with the help of my old Q300 I am able to craft Q300 as much as I like. Even today, in a time in which the crafting system works well. Is it fair of me if I make a copy of my old Q300 weapon today without any practise training? My skill in swordmaking and blacksmith is still 0 and I can make a Q300 sword. Do I break a rule if I make copies and sell them?

It would seem pretty self evident that you would be exploiting a bug to be making these weapons. If you can still make such weapons with no skill, it is equally obvious that smithing is still not working as it should. If you are asking permission to exploit a bug you are unlikely to get it.
However, having your question be ignored for as long as it has and not be categorically denied by a dev, gm or moderator seems rather odd.

First answer, I'm sure you can use your weapon. If they weren't supposed to be used they would have been wiped.
Second answer, using the 300 quality weapon as a template to craft other such weapons without having the skill to do so is an exploit and a bug. It's unfair towards those crafters who do not posses these high quality weapons. So if you want to play fair, no you can't use it that way. Technically you could be punished by the GM team for doing this but you won't be able to do it for much longer anyway.
I expect a nice high quality weapon wipe as soon as the next version becomes available.

This bug has not gone unnoticed. Creating high quality weapons by stacking lower quality ones on higher quality ones will no longer be possible in the new version, because of several reasons. Items that average will also average max quality (a recent fix), and items that should not average (such as weapons) are not stackable at all.
Since the new release has been going to happen any moment for the last few months, there was probably no urgency to also fix this on Laanx.

So using this weapons is no exploiting of a bug?
But I am pretty sure, that most of the high Q weapons are copies of a few old high quality weapons. That means most of us who use the high quality weapons are exploiting the bug indirectly. Even if we know that our weapon we use is a copy.
If this is true I ask myself why no dev or GM has forbidden it until now. Like bilbous already said it seems odd that nobody of the PS team gave an offical statement to this issue.

If you really want it you can repeat it to yourself, but it isn't this what people say in this topic.
You should know very well what is exploting and what isn't. Or you have completly no idea? :s

Uhm... am I missing something here? Zan clearly said that the weapon can be used.

I would think using it might be considered akin to attacking critters when the npc client is down. Strictly speaking it is wrong but nothing much is going to be done about it. Making new ones and spreading them around will likely be dealt with in a more severe manner if it is detected.

hmm well I would have to agree although quality 300 isn't that much higher then what the max is right now so doubt GMs will do anything if you use them if you happen to still have them, but duplicating them enmass would be something else ofcourse.
