Title: 'Finara's Sack' Quest problem
Post by: mawdryn on July 12, 2007, 03:34:13 pm
Hi,

It seems with the 0.3.019 build, I can't give Finara her sack for the aforementioned quest. I get the following error in red:

'Trading containers is not yet implemented'

as such the quest cannot be completed.

(i've completed this quest previously in 0.3.018)

Is this a known issue? I cannot find any references to it in the forums or the bugtracker.

Yes, we know. We're working on changing the quest so that it no longer requires a sack.

Edit: The quest has now been changed, and I've tested it to be functional.

This Quest as of today still asks for a sack so its might still be bugged .

The quest is not bugged, but trading sacks is. To avoid those bugs, trading sacks was disabled. As a result this quest did no longer work. These things are not always fixed in a day, especially when there are more than enough other urgent bugs, so saying it is still not fixed a day after someone says it is known does not really make sense :)

If the quest is still in your uncompleted list it will stay that she's asking for a sack. When quests are fixed they're not retroactively done so, I'm afraid. Sorry.
