Title: Fenki texture error
Post by: Sahraa on July 15, 2007, 08:20:16 pm
Hello

I'm having a problem with charater creation. I've been trying to make a fenki with the akkaio or kore skins, but every time I try my fenki turns out blue. I'm using the latest version of the client (0.3.019), and ran an update before I tried creating my character.

kran + menki = blue enki offspring.
kran + fenki = fuzzy kran offspring.

no?   ;D

In Illyria's case it was : 'Big dark-blue kran' + 'white (Albinism)  fenki' = 'Illyria' :P

*sigh* Well this is unfortunate. I only get one useful, meaningful job done before taking an extended hiatus, and when I get back, I find out it's not even working right in-game.
...not sure whether it's better or worse that the problem isn't limited to the new Enki skins (Kran suffer too, it seems?)

Tracked down the situation in BugTracker and from the comments it looks like the problem's been more or less resolved - however, my experience being rather limited with the client build and the game itself, will the "fix" be made available to us in the form of a patch, a tweak to the .019 mirrors, or do we just smile and wait for .020 for the necessary corrections? I'm guessing it's the last one, but if someone would be so kind as to confirm or correct me on that...?

It was a server-side fix, so everything has been working perfectly since the BT entry was closed :]
