Title: FreeBSD

Just wondering if anyone here has tried installing PS in freeBSD. I\'m going to try myself, waiting for crystal to install. FreeBSD installatin should be a breeze since all the libs and such are in ports. Let me know of any problems or issues with running it in FreeBSD. Thanks!

PS will definitely build and run under FreeBSD.  There is no binary distro built for it yet though.

Well lets see. i have installed Crystal Space and CEL, but it still will not compile:

I\'m trying to get the CVS version to work, but not having much luck. Anyone else have these types of problems? I have tried resetting the CRYSTAL path and CS, but still get the same error...any input would be greatly appreciated.

phobosd, does this mean you\'ll wrap up a FreeBSD port of planeshift-devel alongside cs-devel and cel-devel?
(/me goes dusting off my FreeBSD boxen...)

That would really rock, Planeshift on the next FreeBSD CD set.

That\'s the plan. Getting CS and CEL installed correctly from the port wont be a problem, getting the actual client to run will be;)

I guess i must wait until the next release...but i dont WANNA!!!!! X(  X(
