Title: Character textures messed up?
Post by: Avaloth on July 18, 2007, 03:26:17 pm
Hi, I just installed PlaneShift to my laptop, using an old installer - not sure which version - and, after installing, ran the updater.

When I logged in, I noticed that my character, a dermorian, had red hair instead of black, was possibly shorter, and was missing the little red symbol on his forehead.

This could be because my graphics card is a simple Intel card hardwired onto my motherboard, but I'm not sure, as I've never ran PlaneShift on my laptop before.

The Dermorian male was updated. It's not an error. It's the way they look now.

Ah, I see.

I was rather fond of the old look, though.

Will it be possible to change the look..?   I don't mind using my character as he is, but I don't want to have to make a new one just to get a different look, either.

The head model was changed, so no you won't be able to switch it back. We have an updated version now.
