Post by: rada on July 28, 2007, 05:48:11 pm

Man, i'm tellin ya, i'm just going to have to downgrade this brand new $2000 machine to 32 bit xp. I have had nothing but problems trying to get various things to work, software, printer, wireless network, etc...

and now i find a cool looking free mmorpg and i cant play it cause it doesn't support 64 bit xp??!?

i think ill just downgrade xp to 32 bit and dual boot 64 bit ubuntu.....

PlaneShift should work on 64-bit just fine. Have you tried running it yet?

I assume you are getting an error message of some kind... what is it?

perhaps you downloaded the 32-bit file by mistake. (happened for me on my 32-bit linux [downloaded the 64-bit])  ;)

edit: please ignore, didn't look at the downloads page before i posted.

Hi!

I am having problems with the game running on Vista Ultimate 64 bit edition.
My system is high above the requirements, but the 32 bit xp version doesn't run...
The updater starts, I have all files up to date, I was even able to make a new character.
Please help...
Thank you.

It would help if you described the problems you're having specifically :)

Hi.
The problem seems to be solved. After a restart the game didn't quit shortly after being started. Now I'm learning gameplay.
Sorry for being to impatient, and thanks for the fast reply.
