Well, what would you do in a real world to get some money?

• You could beg or ask.
• You could ask, if someone has some work for you.
• You could sell something, which you have found, produced, hunted, etc.

May I send you back into the game with this information?

but rat don't have any thing to loot

Hello!

Hmmm. Let's see. Rats have one big eye, fur and and a large tail. Sometimes these things get damaged when you fight a rat, so sometimes there is no loot (the loot is generated randomly within certain parameters, this includes that none is generated). Believe me, if there isn't a new bug and the loot system works properly, rats do have a chance to give some loot. You should try a different rat as some NPCs don't generate loot at all.
But fighting is only one way. Maybe you want to try out the other ways as well.

once you got enough money i would advice you to start mining as looting rats is not going to get you anywhere
if you are not sure either PM me or just ask for help in game

i cannot kill rats right now because there is a goble there  :thumbdown:

there are many places were rats are where there are no other npc's

I'm going to have to spring at this opportunity and ask something I've wanted to know for a really long time (and I feel kinda stupid because I've been playing for quite a while but still don't know a lot of things like this); how do you do that, anyway?

Well first you have to buy a book.... Then you examine it and click on the edit button.
