but today I was really pi**** off ....
Playing my character for months now ..... and then .... somebody who I thought would now me ..... expected me beeing an alt of somebody else
this nearly made me leave the game forever ...
I'm sad

Well just because you have seen someone a lot and interacted with them doesn't mean they have no other characters. Were you more offended by who they thought you were than that they thought you might be someone else as well?

I could make a big list of people that others have said are me...and they are not me..I have no idea I dont even roleplay with some of them, nor can I spell thier names, I have heard of them or seen them in game but no I am not them, nore do I really know them. /me thinks fora second "I can think of four off the top of my head...." its bound to happen just tell them , no I am sorry your mistaken that is not me, or this is my only char. and hope they belive you. --its certianly not worth quitting over ;)

well, just to explain myself a bit better than yesterday ...
I have calm down a bit ... but nevertheless I was angry.
Playing Tolol for months now ... having just one alt (for carrying purposes) and then on a day my mind wasn't really clear (private issues) beeing told I was an alt of someone who had helped me very much in game.
I was angry about - not beeing unique enough - that someone could tell: "Yay this is Tolol - distinctivly Tolol"
but nevermind ... delete this thread ... I was out of my mind last night ... sorry

Suprising you care so much about other say about it. Don't you know people lie and if not that they may be wrong?

I think I care that much, because Planeshift is my first RP-Game and I just wanted to do anything right.

I personally don't find a problem if someone call me an alt of someone. its their loss if they think so.

Become in-game friends with better people. Problem solved.

That's got to be annoying but, don't take it too hard.
Most of my alts get found out immediately and I have no idea how :P I think I just use /me's in a slightly less used way :P
Either way, don't mind them. And hope you're feeling better.
