It just rained the other day in PlaneShift, and as my character ran around like a maniac, an idea struck me. There should be rain effects! Why not create lightning? Or puddles? I was thinking that maybe the Crystal would be set off in a situation like that and produce bursts of energy that made ear-splitting booms and lit all of Yliakum . . . It just makes me feel incomplete without lightning.

It can already do that.. just not automatically unfortunately (the lightning and thunder, not the puddles).
-
Well, why not automatically? (Glitches?)
Also, another suggestion, there should be sound for the rain.
-
Yeah, I think more weather effects should be added. But shouldn't this be in the wishlist?
-
nope, i would just have to delete for violation of the wishlist posting guidelines. :)

i always thought it shouldnt rain like in real life but more so like every morning theres dew and condensation on the ground. even say. not a big rain storm but a continuous stream of watter that falls from a certain area of the ceiling to the ground. you know water that leaked down through the other levels. and all the water that "evaporated" up to the ceiling and moved to concentrate at the lowest part. it would make more sense.

Yliakum isn't located below a surface lake, so no, it wouldn't make more sense.

/me loves to play in the rain
not to mention I love how it sparks all sorts of Roleplay by harns' as everyone hides underneath the awnning and tries not get wet or they grumble about getting wet, its just great!!
