Title: Please help a stuck noob (gameplay ?)

I can run MB just fine in OpenGL mode on my WinXP Pro box. However, I jumped up on some boxes and over a fence, and am now stuck between a bunch of buildings with all the exits (including the way I came in) blocked by fences or other obstructions that are too high for me to jump. What do I do to continue in the game without just generating a new character and starting over? Thanks for any tips.
