Title: Metalugy
Post by: Grudebringer on August 31, 2007, 12:39:45 am
Okay so I am level 0 in metalugy, I have trained it to as high as it will go yet no matter how much iron I melt and cast, I can't gain practice points. I have done the "working with stock" quest and it says the following...

You discover you can do the following...

Smelt tin ore into molten tin using furnace...
(Well the list conitnues, but none of the others seem relevent)

Well anyway when I smelt tin ore it turns to dust, the only thing I can smelt is Iron ore into iron ignots, yet I get no practice points for doing so, any help?

you need to make stock to get practice points(i didn't figure that out either for awhile). you need to get 10 iron ore for that.

When you train, you are just getting theoretical knowledge. After training, work on the skill (like iron stocks or steel stocks as suggested), and it will fill the bar and get you a full point (ie: your lvl 0 will now be a 1).

Ypu need to stick the book "working with stock" in your mind slot. The one under your sword slot with a head in it.

You don't know how long it took me to figure that one out by my self... btw you need level 5 to cast.
