Title: Planeshift application won't open

Hey guys,

I have a 2.33 Intel Macbook Pro, X1600 and 2Gs of ram. My current OSX version is 10.4.8

I downloaded the Planeshift client via one of the mirrors, and then downloaded the Java updater from the sticky in this forum. I updated the client using the java updater, but now when I go to open Planeshift, the application icon bounces in the Dock and then it disappears. Before updating, the client ran but was very buggy.

Do you know the solution to my problem?

Do not update. Period. Please read the stickies guys. Even when the game says, "Updates are available," just ignore it. It will always say that. It's wrong. Until you hear otherwise (look at that Mac Client Status sticky!) don't update.
