Title: Install the bin

Its downloading on ktorrent as we speak, how will I install it when Its downloaded and are there any dependacys or anything I need istalled already?

I am not sure, but you will notice if there will be a Problem at the Installation.
Just try it first. I dont see any Requirements.

To install this Game you have to do this Bin File executeable.
After this you can do execute,
sh PlaneShift_CBV0.3.019-x86.bin(In the Directory of the File)

I was an experienched windows user and I made my way out of windows mess.
Now I have Ubuntu but I feel (and I am) like 1000% newbie.
I made the bin executable (chmod +x file) BUT When
  spiros@C:~/Desktop$ sh PlaneShift_CBV0.3.019-x86.bin
 then
  PlaneShift_CBV0.3.019-x86.bin: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
I really need help and information about the md5 command
I really think this a stupid solution but wine will solve my problem :(

The following should be enough to run the installer:

Code: [Select]

./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.019-x86.bin

And for the MD5 checksum, run:

Code: [Select]

md5sum PlaneShift_CBV0.3.019-x86.bin

Then compare the output of the command with the checksum on the web page.

Sry but i cant find anything helpfull
I run in the shell ./psclient(in the directory of the game)
and that is what i get:
 chmod: cannot access `psc': No such file or directory
 ./psclient: line 6: /home/spiros/Games/PlaneShift/psc: No such file or directory
 ./psclient: line 6: exec: /home/spiros/Games/PlaneShift/psc: cannot execute: No such file or directory

What Should I do?

I've installed it, it seemed to work, but diddn't add the open/starter to my menu, which file is it I need to run?

./psclient
or just double click on psclient from the directory that it is in

If you installed that Programm with your root User, then you should type "planeshift" in your Console to execute the Programm.
