As some of you might remember, Friday night HAGS (Hide And Go Seek) used to be hosted by Mordaan and the Explorers guild. As far as I know, this is no longer happening.
So, I would like to announce that I will be hosting the games each Friday [starting at 2100 GMT]. We will all meet at Harnquist's place when the games begin. There the rules for that particular round will be explained to everyone.
Some general rules, borrowed from the old HAGS games:
"- All those interested join in a group (/tell me if you are interested)
- Boundaries are chosen and all must find a hiding spot only within those boundaries (no changing zones, unless it is specified you can do so). And remain in that spot until found.
- One or two seekers are chosen, depending on how many are playing (volunteers are selected for the first game).
- Once a seeker has found someone they must /greet their target and announce in the group channel (since greet is only local – a bit of an honor system here).
- Once a hider is found, he/she becomes a seeker.
- The last one (or two) found become the first seeker(s) in the next round.
- No glitching or GM powers to get to places one cannot normally get to (or simply put, no hiding in places which require an /unstick to get out of).
- No looking in your guild window to see where guildmates might be."
And a new one for updates in the game since then: Turn off labels.
At the start of each round I will accept any donations people wish to give for the winners. Hopefully people will decide to spare something to make it a bit moee interesting.
I look forward to seeing you all there! Send me a tell in game if you have any questions!
First round starts in less than 12 hours!
