It's been a immense cup
England Knock out Austrilia ( England were considered a B grade team acording to John O'neil , head of austrilian rugby I think) Causing a massive up set
France Knock out the All black ( supposedly the best team in the world , thats new zealand for those not in the know )
And Tonight I'm celebrating England beating France 14-9 to Reach the final
Who will face us
South Africa or Argentina ???

I don't know much about rugby, but congrats to the teams still in tournament! It's always nice to see the under dogs get far.

As we've got so much further than the opening game hinted each victory has been a bonus, so here's hoping we can go all the way

Keep in mind that, in the final, we shall be facing South Africa. The best rugby team in the world, who but a month ago subjected us to a 36-0 thrashing.

A final is a totally different game to qualifier however, so I don't expect another 36-0 thrashing.

Which only goes to show just how inaccurate the list is. Between World Cups we have played abysmally, which is why everyone's so surprised and excited we're doing well in the World Cup.

True before the cup I think we were tenth maybe. But I think because we beat Austrilia and France (along with the other victories , Tonga ect) We have manage to get back there
Also congratz to Argentina who manage to beat france to get 3rd place in the cup

Well on the night , SA deserved it, I think we were just too tired after 70 mins, modest in defeat as always

hehe, I'm not sure it was actually. The rules say that as soon as any part of the body touches the white line the ball is out of play.. and his boot did appear to touch the edge just as he lifted his foot.

It as his knee wasn't it? he lifted his foot up but his knee was on the line

No, I'm pretty sure that he put the ball down before his knee reached it, but his boot touched the edge of the line just as he lifted it. I'll need to see another replay :)

academic really the try wasn't given, but at least it wasn't a whitewash and we did get closest to scoring a try

Just saw it on the news again, my mistake Xodan, it was his left foot that was on the white line
