Title: Horrible graphical bugs on iMac Aluminium
Post by: Shettina on October 17, 2007, 07:41:28 pm
Hello everyone!

I have a new 20" Aluminium iMac with the AMD HD 2600 Pro Graphics Card.

When playing the newest Planeshift release, sounds are disabled, and I encounter strange graphical errors.

I will link two screenshots here.

On the first, everything looks normal:

On the second, you can notice that my player model and the npc model are switched, at least parts of it:

This only happens if an NPC is in the viewing angle.

Is that a know problem or am I the first to encounter this? I know that the new iMac's graphics card drivers are not the best, perhaps they will improve with Leopard.

I have new iMac and i got the same problem. The worst thing is when my character becomes a... CHIMNEY  \\o// It looks pretty much the same as on Shetinna screens.

Though I have not seen this before, it does not look very good.

@pawlack: could you please state your hardware configuration too, i.e. graphics card, cpu etc. so that we can see if there is a hardware pattern emerging.

@Shettina: I would also suggest you make a bugreport of this on: http://www.hydlaa.com/flyspray_upgrade
