Title: bug with points at creation?
Post by: dronkit on October 23, 2007, 10:11:30 pm
i created an alt just for fun, and i noticed that some of my "events in life" had negative points, and this leads to a char with more points to use. i used this points to make my mother and father famous... i can't remember exactly which are the ones giving negative points, but there are others that "cost" 0 points. is this a bug or is it intended this way? i'm new to rpg's, so excuse my ignorance. if this is a bug, i'll be happy to post my alt chars details as soon as i get home

I believe what is meant is that some such as failed political give more points BACK to the players hanec going from say -2 CP to 2 CP or whatever.Cp means character points since I think thats the abbreviation used during creation. Some also give or take 0 CP, but affect Your character in others ways.

I also believe that the question asked is if there is supposed to be ways to GAIN cp during the character creation process?

The ones that have negative cp values all reduce the final character somehow, less int, wil, str and etc. It has been like that for a long time.
