Hello and Welcome.
Two quick thoughts. 1. you are playing from the .DMG, If so move to HD. 2. You do not have right permissions to save, If not your computer, get owner to look at it for you, If yours you need to reset the admin in, right click on HD, then normal click on get info, Then ownership & permissions, next to You can should be . Read & Write.
-
It's my own mac.
don't know if i'm playing on dmg?
the download i downloaded end with dmg?
is it that you mean?
i'm not english so my com is not on english so i can't find out what to do on my com.
-
Yes, the planeshift from that needs to be moved to your Hard Disk.
-
how to do that ? (:
-
hi,
Drag and drop to your desktop or your Applications's folder
easer normaly… Tell us
-
i have done that (:
-
no different. :(
-
Ok, if you where doing it from the .dmg, did you use tool bar to open it, [ bar at bottom of screen, you dragged game icon there] if so you need to drag it off there, and redo it with new game, you copied to Hard Disk.
If this is not the case, we come back to permissions, look to see if you have read and write.
-
I'm having this same problem as well. I've tried all that stuff and nothing seems to work.
-
It dosen't help :'(
-
did you copy the actual .dmg or the stuff inside?
-
the .dmg
i have copied it into the sign pencil, ruler and a thing i can't see
-
Look at screenshot, The Planshift folder you see there is what the .dmg gives, now you click hold and dragftp:// to your Hard disk, from Hard disk put it where you want it to go. open it and then open pssetup, set it up how you want it, then click ok, now open it again and see if it has changed back, or still same.
Also I show what my get info shows.

One more thing to try Disk Utility, run permissions repair on it.
-
sorry don't know what that means on my computer :sweatdrop:
-
search for "Disk Utility" on your computer (with spotlight or something) and open it
find Planeshift_CBV0.3.020a.dmg on the left side
click the button that says "repair disk permissions"
hope that helps :)
-
Screenshot shows rout to disk Utility.app.
In background id Disk Utility when open.

On last thing to try. click on apple top left, then click on System Preferences, in there click on Accounts [ symbol top halve of two people] See if you have admin by your name.

-
no :(
don't work /:
-
So do you have admin ? If not you need to .
-
yes i have
-
Basically, open Disk Utility. On the list in the left will be at least one disk. Click the one second from the top (it should have the same name as your hard disk and will be indented).
Then click Repair Disk Permissions in the bottom left of the main part of the Disk Utility window. You will NOT be able to click Repair Disk. This is fine. Hopefully, that should repair your disk permissions and fix your problem.
