Poor Brado, he hasn't gotten any attention to his tavern, Th' Broken Door, down in Ojaveda. I mean, people don't visit that often, but he needs to redecorate and renovate. That way maybe some more people would come along... Don't you feel sorry for him? I mean, he's got the only tavern in all Yliakum in which you can actually sit in the chairs!
-
I stop in whenever I'm there on business which has been increasingly often as of late. I'm quite fond of the Enkidukai.
-
As far as I know it has always been a gathering place for the less lawful types. Since they'd rather not try to get past all the guards over in Hydlaa those people are better off going to Brado's.
-
If so, then why don't they make Brado's tavern a bit of a darker place? There's this door downstairs that leads to a huge, empty room, which could make a good, shady meeting place for outlaws (not necessarily the guild, just people who don't follow the law as they should).
-
There is? Last I saw the two doors were closed.
-
Criminals like a little sunshine from time to time too ... no need to make their hangout stereotypically dark :P
-
It's downstairs, where you find the rats. I got curious 'bout what was on the other side, and turned my collision thingy off. There's this huge room about the size of the whole tavern (not as tall, obviously), and nothing's in there.
-
and nothing's in there.
Nothing in a room where players aren't supposed to be? Oh, those crazy devs. :)
-
Not crazy enough. I'd have hidden stuff in there (like a hidden stash of treasure) with no intention of ever using it, just to mess with people who found ways of looking inside. But then, I'm mean sometimes. ;D

I'm sorry but that actually was the funniest thing I've seen all day! Thank you Jeraphon! ;D

Ojaveda use to be the hangout for all the hardcore roleplayers, actually. It's only since the Ojaveda spawn was introduced that the area became deserted - even though that goes against common sense. There was even a guild who had a permanent shop there (The Defenders). That was quite a ways back though.

Archon of vaalnor once had a shop adjacent to toda's, they always had great deals, and great stock.
-
Huh. Maybe they'd have more visitors if there was a strip club...

Thromdir .. also of Vaalnor still opens that shop from time to time. But due to too many projects and a lack of time it's not every day you can find him there.

Sorry, I don't do [those] kind of textures... :sweatdrop:

/me wonders if Raa was volunteering
@kieve There were some floating about ;
-
In the words of Kieve "clothes stay ON, clothes stay ON!" ;D
I do think it would be cool though if eventually there was another room under Brados.
-
Show us a screen of this room, I would like to gauge the size.

something strange about that room is that you can be heard from the death realm ;) well it was the time when i could enter in it :(
-
Voices of the dead? Actually sounds kinda cool. ;D
-
Oh, first indecent exposure and now voices beyond the grave? Or is it communicating with the dead?
Poor Brado, I think he's got more to worry about than just rats and broken mugs!
