Very nice link.  I have a question, though, that I haven't found answered anwhere. If it's here and my search skills didn't turn it up, forgive me!   :oops:   Does armor affect spell-casting ability?  i.e., to successfully cast a spell, one can only wear light armor (or no armor). 

I'm whipping up my first character for PS, and don't want to do it wrong and have to go through the tutorial multiple times unnecessarily.  Thanks everyone, and thank you for what seems like a great community and fantastic early-stage game.

Hello there. :)

Well, magic abilities are based on the magical ways, and also on stats (INT, CHA, WIL), but I don' think that wearing heavy armor would negatively affect those stats. The armor type might affect the other stats some day, likely Agility for the most, but I don't see spell casting being affected by armor type coming. Maybe there will be magical robes or something, which would likely be light armor, or no armor class at all, but I think it's safe to say that you can train any armor type you like. :)
