I live in the US, what time will the party be comparing to US time ???
...ooooh kewl its glowing
-
/me would like to know what is US time at all :)
Anyways, mentioning gmt is the usual way to cooridate time world wide so you should figure out what time you have compared to gmt
-
and clean up that mess with the plants and animal hides on the public sidewalk or i'll file a complaint with Amidison :)
-
There is no "US time", because the USA has several timezones. (Shame how little US people know about the USA.)
Calculate yourself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_time_zones
e.g.:
West coast (e.g. Alaska) = UTC-9 = 19:00 GMT - 9 h = 10:00
...
East coast (e.g. Florida) = UTC-5 = 19:00 GMT - 5 h = 14:00
-
Wow, weird seeing Alaska referred to as the "west coast." :P
Just to avoid any unnecessary confusion, what most American's think of as the west coast, California, Oregon, and Washington (the western most states of the contiguous USA) is actually -8 GMT = 11 PST (Pacific Standard Time). Alaska is out there on its own, closer to Russia than it is to any US state so, it has it's own goofy time zone AKST (Alaska Standard Time). :P Same goes for Hawaii which is even further behind GMT than Alaska at -10 GMT.
The only thing that ever messes me up is when stupid daylight savings time throws everything off. (Thank you Benjamin Franklin.) *shakes fist*
See LigH not all US people are ignorant. ;) Now stop making generalizations! :P
*re-reads LigH's post*
Or was that some type of shot at "little US people" and how due to their small stature they should be kept in the dark about American history? Either way you should be ashamed of yourself! :P (majorly kidding)
-
Wait a minuite...are particually evil people allowed in? :whistling:
-
Hah, that bring the alignment debate to a whole new rediculous level! I don't think it is possible to ICly screen people at the door for OOC generalizations about the nature of your character.

@ Marqsaynt:
Yeah, sorry ... not all Americans are like "We make war, why do we need geography?"... ;)
Whatever. I hope we will have a warm welcome (or cool, as you prefer) and a good meal. :D
The location was between Amidison and the watch tower, right? I remember a kind of "*Small* pot plant alley".
