Title: Game wont update

I downloaded plane shift just then (because im abit sick of maplestory and its time for a new game)
but when i go to update it wont, all the mirrors fail and the backup fails aswell  :@#\
Can someone help me please?

when i try and play it with out updates it wont work  :( it ses i must update it

Uninstall everything and install it again, and when you're done, DO NOT UPDATE. I repeat: DO NOT UPDATE.

i did that
i uninstalled, and reinstalled it and went to the program files and started the client up
and i dident do the updater
it still said i needed to update the version of it

did you dl from Internode? if so you have an old version and will need to dl from another mirror, making sure you have version 0.3.020 and you wont need to update despite what the client says

Serch in google for: 'Plane Shift download 0.3.020'
download it, and install it.

or, you could, oh, I don't know, maybe, try using reading the stickies, perhaps?

That doesn't work either, anyway. I have the same problem. I install the client (on my Ubuntu Gutsy), and when I try to login I'm told it's not the right version, and that I should run the updater. Of course, I didn't, since you all seem so adamant about how the updater is not to be used at all.
But then, what should I do? Should I try every mirror in the hope of finding an installer that is actually up to date?

EDIT: please ignore what I wrote above, or call me a moron. I actually installed an older client I didn't remember I had the installer for. I'm messy. Sorry.
