Ok given the success of the polls we figured we would keep up with it.
A couple things to note:
This is not a democracy; we will heed your wishes as often as is possible, but some unseen practical considerations supersede our ability to deliver all you want all the time.
Secondly, it'll be a while before we can implement the changes you are voting for.
Please vote though, we do want to know what you think and it will help guide our choices.

Tough call. I'd go for the ones that have no model yet. I'm not sure if this means they will get them sooner but at least there could be more content on them to make up for it. I'm personally most curious about the Nolthrir and Klyros.

Chalk me up for a femme Klyros. Seeing a barechested Klyros wandering around with a female descriptor makes me feel more than a little awkward.

No way...Diaboli males, that's enough said...we need a dark race for once, elves would have that similarity about them, and human females are fine using the elf female look for now...Diaboli males are just so much more interesting, give us the devils. :D

ffs they don't even have a model, and are an awesome race, just imagining what they might look like.
In spesific I'd like to see the males first, but if both males and females were created together, well, that would be ideal.
and Ylian (not human) females imo are not as interesting as diaboli ^^
They have their place, its just I want to see some diaboli models. And I pray they are nothing like the dermorians O.o

Dang it! Now I guess Xillix is never going to forgive me... For the record it was more about having the female models catch up with the male ones that are already available, not which ones I think are personally cooler/more interesting.

A better thing to do is to make really, really ugly female character models, like... on the level of ylian males...
IE: limp (like ylian males) have disfigured faces (Like ylian males)

Why the crap do people want Ylian females and Klyros females...? Ylian females actually have a normal-looking model as it is, they're fine...and all the Klyros are meant to look the same, there's no reason to change them anymore than they are now. ._.

no... you see klyros don't follow the rule about reptiles... they have... dare I say it? Breasts, meaning they are nursing creatures, which means females should be endowed.
A little adult, but I guess thats what our community wants now isn't it? :P
And yeah im clueless as to whats the rage of female ylians, it is diaboli males that need updating :P IMO they're a lot more eventful then ylians.

It was too hard a desicion between Smurfs and Snorks which would give something completely new to PS.
Since I was unable to decide between the one or the latter, I reconsidered and came to the conclusion that either female Diaboli or female Klyros would give a good addition to the current state. Thus goes my vote to female Diaboli.

I voted for the one that pushes Xil's buttons the most, because I can. That, and my opinion is that everything will be made in due time and I'm patient, so I don't really care wish one comes first. Oh, and Xil must know how 1337 I be. rar

Nothing to do with my character being one... well, perhaps a bit. But I want horns and wings XD
As a side note, that remembers me I have a pending issue with "describe you and your character" thread :p
BTW, I can't believe snorks are unknown... perhaps I'm growing old :(

I don't believe snorks ever made it to Canada but I have never paid for programming so might have missed it. I have no vote as I do not really care which gets developed although I do have an aquatic elf that I never play that could benefit from a toon.

This has to be the most amusing poll so far. Kudos, Xillix.
I was torn between smurfs and snorks until I came to my senses. Then, I thought how nice it would be to finally see some Hammerwielder models so that they can stop using OUR MODEL!! :P But, I finally settled on the female Klyros since those poor Klyros have had gender issues for long enough already. ;D

I see many people agreeing that races without any model need votes, but it seems they then still vote for females of existing races :). Is Lanarel the only Xacha in game, bored by being seen as a noob Ylian because he does not wear his armor all the time and isn't in a guild? Actually, never mind. If you would make a Xacha model without many attractive females added at the same time, all noobs would become Xachas. Can I change my vote for smurfs?

I'm all for Nolthrir females. Klyros females would be good, too, but at least they already look like Klyros. And Nolthrir would finally be a race that has the female model first ;D
Further, I'd like to see textures for female Dermorian leather armor. I think they still can't dress properly...

I hereby declare that Smurfs and Snorks are nicknames for male Nolthrirs ... putting them tied with female Ylians for second place!
No seriously now, since I'm a guy who ... yes this might come over as shocking for some of you ... prefers to stick to his own gender with characters, I prefer male characters being developed. Then considering that my first character created, Zan, is Nolthrir I obviously can't wait for him to actually look like himself and not some pink elvish pansy. :P

It'd be nice to have a new model, but the downside will be that every 1337 person out there will create a Diaboli model. It was the same when the Klyros where introduced, there suddenly was an invasion of that race.

Eh they will come, invade the race, and then eventually die out. No real stopping it as its the same anytime anything new is introduced to the game (or just about any game for that fact), like winch or crafting :P Just the way things are I guess.

I voted for the female Klyros for, um, several obvious reasons... If it weren't for that, I'd vote the Diaboli thing, since it really confuzzles me. The annoying thing about beta is that we have to double-click on someone to make sure what they really are. There was this one time when my character was talking to a Klyros and I referred to the Klyros as a "he", and then she went ballistic on me. :sweatdrop:

edit: after making three different characters, I am personally sick of staring at a ynnwn's backside when its supposed to be Lemur, So i say make lemur models...please with a cherry on top?

I use Diaboli for single and plural. Diabolia (or Bolia) for females, and Diabolin (rarely) for males.

I wonder when the day my Lemur's model will be changed from an elf to an actual male Lemur. I don't really mind the wait as long as the reason for it is to make the Lemur's model kick ass. My 2nd vote would be Xacha, both genders preferably because they really need a model. Woot Lemurs!

Hey that's not fair...Female Klyros and Female Ylian didn't have male additions to go with them in the polls, Diaboli polls were split into both male and female...add both the male and female Diaboli votes together so we can be up there with the one-gender wonders. :P

well, with there being a lot of fenkis around, we (female Ylians) need something to help us stand out from the crowd and attract some male species and make up for the lack of being exotic.

Curious: what happens to the character when a new model is implemented with more options than when we first created the character? Will we see an option when first using that character after teh addition is made to make changes? or will we get stuck and have to create a new char to see what cool options the new model has?

if a new skin gets put in all chars of that race take it on, for now no one can change other features unless they remake their char.

It already happened to the male Dermorians: Their models got improved, but somehow body specifics (like tribal tattoos) were not kept. So one of my alts lost his green tattoo, and the answer I got was "What a pity, but we can't help".

the name lemur is somewhat misleading. Perhaps I am the only one who thought this, but when I saw it was a race, the only image that came to mind was the lemurs from the movie Madgascar...
Not to mention the reason why most people play games is to be a warrior. Lemurs don't strike me as being a warring race.

Maybe some people really want to be blue, or whatever color snorks happen to be. A lot of people vote before reading that those 2 aren't really counted. I voted for Snorks, to be honest, before reading

I voted for klyros female, but diaboli would have been my second option, as any alts I make are diaboli because they're the second coolest race. If diaboli had wings they would pwn anything. :P

The poor klyros female, im so sick of not knowing if there a female and calling them Sir. and the stonebreaker females make them able to sit.......so tired of them complaning about that, and last the lemur so many races look like dermorians.

As far as I know, the "cute" Stonebreaker females (Karyuu FTW!) are already able to sit.
And most players of female Klyros already know that thes should add a note into their character descriptions (and indeed, "Tanner" and "Eckar" don't sound female). So next time you meet an unknown Klyros, "look at" them! (Right-click or "/targetinfo"), they might tell you what you can hardly see.

There may be lemurs being able to play PlaneShift - but I doubt you will find Klyros outside of Ohm. :D

I voted Ylian female just to have a human female model for use.
The Diaboli (male and female) and Lemur (male and female) would be my next choices.
Also, I think all the Klyros needs right now is to take the male model and give it a feminine shape (smaller shoulders and wider hips) and walk (perhaps borrowed from another race if its possible). Nothing else has to change. And since they lay eggs, they dont need chest enhancements.
