Man, this forum is great. I posted over forty messages before even playing the game. There are a lot of smart people here. A lot of stupid people, too, but.....
Anyway, I find many comments intellectually stimulating and many stories and poetry are very good. I spend a good deal of my free time here. How long has this forum been around. I don\'t see how Kiern has over 1000 posts. That\'s insane! Oh well. I\'m not sure what the point of this thread was. Hum-dee-dum...

I think this forum came online in February 2002. Before this one we had an old forum, and I think that one also was up for a year or so. But im not sure about that. I don\'t think anyone of the original community 2 years ago shill is here though, exept for some devs.

Well, Ravenmaster, by your average of roughly five posts a day, you should be able to get 1,000 posts in six months - less or more depending on how much you spam. :D

hehe... Actually I started those threads, so I like to post on them whenever I can. And, you could put your poems directly on the Poems Thread instead of making a new thread for each one. Not that I mind. I wish people would post on the RPG forum, I have the last post on 14 of the top 17 threads, and I don\'t like posting twice in a row. Two of the three I don\'t have are Khalisi\'s poems which I already said were awesome in the other poem boards, and the other is in french, which yo no hablo.

speaking of thread-continuing, this thread jumped up really fast. I just started it earlier today and there\'s already 9 posts. Actually, the reason I post so much is because I\'m at a crazy college-like high special high school for \"gifted and talented\" students (most of which are idiots) and I have constant internet access, a T1 connection, and a lot of time during which I should be doing my ever-present mobs of homework, projects, and reading, but instead spend posting messages because it\'s a good deal less stressful, even though it inevitably just adds more stress... Sigh, that was a long sentence.

Yea...if more people posted in the RP forum it would be a lot more interesting, but I stopped going there because (i\'m sorry to say) a lot of the stories were boring (in other words, they were pretty much the same thing, I get bored easily :P) not that all of them were and i\'m pretty sure I missed some good ones...anyone care to point out some? :D

aye, good rules all of em general. a few more rules. A) touch the Princess, and she will kill you. She will rip your arms off and make you eat them while she beats you with your legs. If meket gets his hands on you, you will wish you were in hell. Don?t worry about it though, you?ll probably be dead by the time he gets there if the Princess gets to you first. B) Don?t go after Kiern, or any of the other forum old-timers. You will be swarmed with waves of logic, OTHER forum old-timers, random comments, twisted realities, and other unsavory things. Translation ? don?t mess with em. C) Go after Cyo, you?ll wish you?d insulted the entire forums first. Cyo?s temperament and ferocity is that of a wolverine bred with a Tasmanian devil. Therefore making it a Tasmanian Wolverine Devil. D) Binary is the master. E) welcome to the world of the big boys (and girls). For the initiation ceremony, you must do as followed. You must find the Apple of Forum Initiation, which is past the River of Flames, which is in the Forests of Spam, guarded by the Trolls of??well??the Trolls. Once you get past them all, you must climb the Twisted Beanstalk of Logic and get past the Dragon of Opinion and crack open the Indestructible Egg of Newness, and you will find what you?ve been questing for after all these trials:??a note saying that you crossed the wrong River of Flames and you took a wrong turn awhile back and you have to do it all again.

Anyone remember Shanky? That was something, he went from 0 to 120 posts in less then three weeks i believe. He had an average of 15 posts per day. Talk about no social life!
And then he suddenly dissapeared.

I\'m gone for a week and there are people in here that got more posts in that week than I did in my months here, it\'s a new breed of spamming noobs, ppl like Link just don\'t stand a chance anymore.

I don\'t understand... Why does everyone think I spam? Do I? Is it spamming to respond to posts multiple times? I thought spamming was just posting the same thing over and over or trying to advertise something or just putting up stupid posts that say stuff like \"A\" then one that says \"B\" then \"C\" for no reason other than to get posts. And as far as I can tell, I\'m the only newb who has lots of posts, so it\'s not a new breed, just a lone individual who, like I stated earlier, \"love

By the way, is there an admin who goes through and changes words, or is it automatic? I said someone was a \"Bass turd\" and it was changed to \"peanut\". I also said a word reffering to cursing something to burn forever in inferno and it changed it to \"dang\". That may account for why people say peanut all the time. I wonder if it also changes a word which refers to what a vacuum does to suxxor. In one thread, Kada asked about that. Well I\'ll test it. So-and-so sucks.
I spelled \"acknowledged\" wrong and then it was quoted twice...

Hope you stick around, and gad to see you on the forum, there are too many people just downloading the game and not even bothering to read anything. Then we\'re stuck with many people asking \"Why can\'t I get a sword?\" and \"Where are all the mobs?\", but they should leave soon and planeshift will be left to those who have waited years for this release and who will wait years more for the next releases :)

It seems the general concensus is that I am only Kiern\'s pet. Sigh... I\'ve heard of sons overthrowing their fathers or uncles, brothers overthrowing their brothers, but not pets overthrowing their masters (who happen to be Emperors). I do not think I will ever become an emperor, but stranger things have happened(ie Life).

Uh, I guess. You mean queso as in cheese or does it mean something else. I wouldn\'t worry about it, Kiern. Even at my current rate it\'ll take almost 3 months, and I don\'t think I can keep up my current rate, especially after school ends.

I did for a week or two. As you may have noticed, I\'ve started to chill a little. Down to three or four posts a day from eight times that much. It keeps telling me that the forums are down. Does anyone else get that? Like, are they actually down or does it just tell me that they are?

hmmm, I think I will get in on this before I make my exit once again. Even though my spamm... I mean postings dont reflect it ;) I have been around (on the boards but on the site for longer) since about... Oct 2001 (I think, give or take a month or 2). I use to be here alot in my hopes and dreams to get off of another game, BUT now I work and stuff. I still have my hopes of addiction to this game though! lol. Go figure.
So, I am also an old timer here. Me and Kada and a few others can drink our grog, beating our walkers and canes at the little ones. :p hehe!

I think these froums will be great for the game after it actually starts (assuming it is still around). Then people will actually have a name. People will actually be famous within the game because of what they\'ve done here or what someone has said about them here. Also, I guess if this game ever gets really big, like tens of thousands, and most people sign up here the board will get overpoplutated with idiots and the like... Sigh... Oh well, I still love this place.

you should have seen the activity on this board when mb was released.
the record went from 19 to 36 users online at the same time.
A lot of new people signed up on the boards around that time. Of course most of them are starting to lay low again. A few stick around though.
I can only imagine how crowded it is going to be when this will finally be released.

I joined up before MB was released. I downloaded Atomic Blue, but never got to play it because they didn\'t want to load it onto the new server. It took me a while to figure out why it wasn\'t working. The first time I actually played the forum was down, so I couldn\'t figure out what was going on. I IM\'d Kahlisi who at the time wasn\'t a member and asked her for help. Good ol\' Kahlisi... So, was this board around before AB, and was AB the first release or where there more before it?

I was around on the old boards (any one remeber them ^_^) for about 2 years i think, way way back before there was any sign of a techdemo comeing, man that realy was a long time ago. back before i tried being part of teh team and before i lost enthusiasim for it all. cant remeber who else as there, so many new people have come since the opening of teh new boards

I was around at the end of the old boards, mid to end of november, posted 3 or 4 times, left and came back in january :D so im still new compared to people like bigfoot ;)

Oh yeah thats right .. you where on the old boards, Kada El was also, CMhitman was i think... pencil something was also. kendaro, whitti, thekkur (all before they got there 5 blue stars), that stickman guy(?) was there also, Link wasnt (thank goodness, although maybe for a few weeks before the new boards), ummmm hmmm cant think of any others at the moment. oh golbez was, i think...

I look around the threads and all I see is you constantly putting other people down and making a lot of noise about Scope. Is this really necessary? Are you feeling insecure about something? Try posting something a little more constructive for a change.
I was going to avoid replying to these posts, but you have insulted me in the past and I don\'t feel like taking it anymore.

Ummm...I started to come here late February 2002. The new board was up already. I did see all of those people when I joined. Didn\'t get much chance to talk to them, except for CMhitman, Kendaro a bit, Kada when I managed to catch her at the IRC.
And no, I\'m not dead. I still come from time to time to check on updates. I am just laying really low at the moment :)

Kada...My laughs are meant to insult(the k\'s), but not to cause personal injury,
as you know I was at a point gonna join your guild.
You run a nice guild, and me laughing was my way of agknowledging this but at the same time letting you know that my scope idea, once it catch\'s on will be as popular, if not better than the hitman clan was and surpass \"the k\'s\".
Your guild deserves all respect, and I give you your props, but thats where it stops.
