What aspect of the game do you like the most?
-
Roleplay. Cat-people. Graphic glitches. Elven man-ladies. Forced communism.
-
Forced communism.
I was with you right up till there and now I think we're playing two different games. Its not communism when someone can buy a guild house for 7mil and I can't even buy more than two drinks in the tavern.
-
It's what unsuccessful communism results in.
X-/
-
The fact that, when I make something, everyone gets to see it. :D
And PS isn't communist, it's some kind of totalitarian dictatorship. *shrug*
-
Roleplay and the freedom of developing your character in any way you want. (though that last can also provide frustration with those few who go to far :P)
-
The RP and the ability to help others try and develope a RP enviroment that makes them happy with being in our world ;)
-
RP and the community!!! Oh and the way i can climb buildings and mountains..thats cool too ;D
-
I think most I like the RP in planeshift. That's what makes PS different to other games. And I enjoy the freedom in character development too. I can play a magican who is able to defend himself with swords. And the setting is very nice too, not the ordinary human versus Orks stroy. ;) Of course the settings still need a lot of work, but most of the ideas are unique and inventive, imho

:D I have two favorite aspects of the game. The roleplay and the community. I love being able to use my imagination and be free to create a story. I love that people can join into my fun and me into theirs.
-
Me.
And I guess the community aswell.
And the settings.
-
:D I have two favorite aspects of the game. The roleplay and the community.
Exact reasons why I love this game. The community is the best of any game I've ever played(second is a text based game I used to play, I miss those people a lot :'( ). Then roleplaying is what I enjoy in the game. Without it other games quickly lose my intrest.
-
Easy, the role-play. :)
All other aspects of PS can be out shined by other more glossy, big budget, massively corporate games but, the nurturing of RP is something that those for-profit games can't touch. I know WoW has some decent RP going on and RP servers but, their may goal is to make money. If Blizzard actually enforced all their RP server policies, they'd just end up banning half the people playing... and losing those player's monthly Visa charges. ;) Since PS isn't in the game for the money, they can actually enforce naming policies, encourage IC interactions, and actually build a game around RPing as much as around PvP, PvE, etc.
So, I guess maybe my answer wasn't so "easy" after all. :P I think I'd have to add the fact that the devs are able to make PS however they see best, without worrying about whether it has money-making, super mass market appeal, to what I like best also. :)
-
the fact that it can take so much of my time. and that there are plenty of people who can roleplay (but can't teach it very well >:( ).
-
What I like the most is the commitment to making a great game by the project members and many of the player-testers. The results so far are amazing and it's getting better all the time. Way to go!
-
The devs :sorcerer:
-
The devs :sorcerer:
What a sycophant.
I'll have to go along with Zorbels and Duraza and say the RP and the community. Although to be honest, only certain members of the community. When it was smaller a few years ago I preferred it, but now there's a lot of useless scum around. :P I miss Tybalt.
-
I like the quests and the NPCs. I particularly like how there are some hidden pieces of knowledge that only a handful of players have uncovered like jewels (like certain things NPCs can tell you, or alternate quest endings that hardly anyone has found.)
I'm not too biased, am I? :D
-
Call me weird (I am anyway), but I like the fact that it's unfinished.
Complementary to what I stated before, I enjoy working on this game more than playing it. Heck, my first task was the tiger-enki skins, and after modding for Morrowind for two and a half years plus, it was one of the most fulfilling things I've accomplished in quite some time. Once the work is over, I can easily see myself staying on as a PS-modder, much as I did with the formal wear patch over in the fan art forum - the standard response in here seems to be "I like the RP!" and it's true that roleplaying is interesting, but that alone wouldn't hold me for long without the prospect of something to apply myself to.
-
It will never be done. If it became so, there would be a lot of sad people, myself included.
What I like most about the game: Anything that I can roleplay with my characters without having to glaze something over. ;)
-
I like the quests and the NPCs.
Heh, i like that now i have gotten the hang of how to successfully chat with them and questing is a lot more interesting and fun (to me) :)
I did my first quest all by myself yesterday (meaning i didnt have to ask anyone for aid) and i was so proud of myself!! ;D
Yay NPCS!!!!!!!!!
-
I like how it is open to the people that play it.
-

I say the game, because I can't really poin my finger to it, but I like it all.

/me goes to pitch the idea of using Amex to WoW.....
