hey everyone, im having a little problem with the game.
i downloaded the client and when i load it i can log in with my e-mail thingy then it goes to the next screen where a stone table type thing spins round and round. its been like this for 5-10 minutes now and i cant clcik anything..
any ideas?

but what operating system do you have?
what video card?
have you updated the graphics drivers?

i run winsows vista if that helps?
but thats all i know to be honest sorry :innocent:

it sounds like vista isn'y handling OpenGL, (used to run the graphics part of the game) properly. its a typical problem we get here from users using vista.
you're going to have to go to your video card's manufactuer's website and get the latest graphics drivers and install them to see if it fixes the issue.

first: brand of the computer. if it is a brand name comp, then the tech support will be able to help you on this. the "magic question" is "i want to update my video card drivers"
second: start -> settings -> control panel ->system and maintance -> device manager -> display adaptors and that will give you the video card. then just google for that and you should find the manufacturer and get the latest drivers there.
third: ask someone you know who is good with computers. again the magic question is "i want to update my video card drivers"

Video card drivers are software and are free. Just download and install.

and if it is, when i googled it the intel website came up but it just explained what it was not how to update it :P

First thing, if no one has replied to your last post modify it and dont double post.
Second thing that is a graphics chip and not a graphics card, so it might not play the game too well

Latest update of the Gemma attempting to play planeshift: I made a character and then when i went to load it into the world it said loading with MOTD and soem other writing, but it closed itself... any ideas? :P

since it is a new char, it should be trying to load you to the tutorial world.
and since I saw this:

in the changelog earlier, my guess is it just had a hiccup. If you haven't done so, try to log in again with that char, or try to make 1 more new char. If it still crashes, we could try to have a gm move you from the tutorial world out to the real game world somewheres and see if you can log in there. But for that, we'd need the name of the char you created.

Sorry neko no gm will move a brand new char out of the tutorial unless they have completed each and every part of it.
