In an attempt to start documenting more about how it works I thought I would toss out some ideas and see what area people would like to see more Documentation. I know that 'all' is probably what most people would like but needs to start somewhere.

I voted other :)
I figured out some parts of quests, combat and crafting myself, but what always takes a lot of time is the over all stuff. There is some info about what is where in the podcast, but how things work together is a bit of a puzzle. Managers, messageques/handlers. Try to follow what happens if you type a command :)

im not a programmer so if this sounds silly...just ignore :innocent:
i tink it would make sence to start on the parts that are most needed in short term/need critical changes, in order to facilitate prioritization.

OMG! Can only choose one ..... can't make up my mind ........ :sweatdrop: OK I chose one but I am not sure i am completely happy with my choice. *Sighs*

I voted for GUI because i tried to play around with PAWS lately and found it to be quite tricky to understand without docs :)

One of my fears is that I will start to write documentation for something and then realize that it needs to be redone and then get sidetracked into that and give up on the documentation side again. It's hard to write stuff for stuff you know needs to be redone or is incorrect. We will see how this goes. Maybe if I do it in pieces it won't be so bad.

I started a draft on the character appearance and equipment guide. Can be found http://www.hydlaa.com/dev/char_app/charapp.html (http://www.hydlaa.com/dev/char_app/charapp.html). Keep in mind that's it's only a draft but will take comments on any particular aspects that need to be expanded. This is also just a client side description at the moment.

Dito... Do you remember when I wrote the pawsWindow XML viewer (http://www.ligh.de/software/PSMapV.rar) (which complains about malformed XML a lot, BTW)? ;)
