Kilas probably. He has the most interesting and educational quests I have come across.

Percival Hawethorn

For some odd reason his name always stuck out in my head. He seems like a decent guy and has a lot to teach.

Then again Gregori Stevald (sp?) also has a lot to teach and gives out some nice quests. Not to mention hes funny (after reading his arena book xD )

Zak - because he's simply a funny guy, sitting in his cave.
Title: It's the rat's
Post by: PurpleSponge on December 13, 2007, 04:38:52 pm
:D It's the rat's , because they are the only NPC's I feel I can realy communicate with on the same level as my inteligence.
And I like their puppy-eyes. Maybe you can put some rat's in with difrent eye colors.

Brado, He stayed calm the whole time when I tried to ask him something my first day around, and even sold me a beer after I flamed at him for like half... Nah, 15 minutes  :sweatdrop:
And He's an Enkidukai!

Hahaha! too funny!

I'd have to say I am rather fond of Ubunku and Kistol, they are pretty great, and Ubunku has some really great insults. What can I say, I guess I lean a bit more twards the shady NPC's ;)

I'd also like to point out that if you also included the NPC you hate the most..I think Raithen would win rather quickly. ;)

Hmm probably a toss up between Deelor and Ukabnu.

I absolutely LOVED the way Deelor talked, i laughed so hard when i did a quest for him.

Ukabnu has a great personality too (she dared insult me?  :o ), plus she shares my inviibum problem  :P

Post by: Jeraphon on December 13, 2007, 06:45:19 pm
Well I'm glad you liked Deelor's quest. That was probably the first one I ever wrote and it holds a special place in my heart. :)

My favourite NPC is probably Raul Ursino. His stuff is incredibly fun to write.

People only dislike Raithen because of the whole winch kerfuffle in the past, but that's since been rectified and there should be no reason to hate him now. :)

Levrus, and solely because he has to do with magic.

Trasok or Hiacheius. Dwarves are pretty great to talk to in general. since their way to talk is often a bit rough (but not unfriendly), sarcastic/cynic, or sometimes a bit goofy. There is but one exception ... Lorytia ... I hate her, everyone hates her. Most people relieve their anger about her quest on her with their freshly obtained item*. :D

But yeah, dwarves... \o/

*[removed name of the item due to spoiler]

PS: Ubunku sounds like the latest alternation of Ubuntu..

>You have linux?

>Yeah, I have Ubunku Feisty Fawn :whistling:

No offense, Izzy :D

I guess you won't like the book myself and Rinenud wrote then.

I think Crosh Dunehammer is just peachy. Few of the npcs will get drunk with you and tell you such strange stories.

So hard, I like so many. Definately Ukabnu, I love her attitude. We have the most entertaining conversations   :P
Next would be Aldaaren Phostle, we need more crazies in PS, and his doom chants are very entertaining.
However my all time favorite would be Harnquist, not just because everyone is there but because there are so many good times connected to him. Like when he disappeared and everyone made up stories about where he went  ;D

Relliom! he is the best, always straightforware about his goals. I love how he is so matter-of-fact about wanting to sacrifice me. another plus is watching n00bs come up to him and try to kill him  ;D.

Remant, because he's the only guard that seems to forget anything he has, everywhere in the city.

'I just gave you a broadsword, and you already need a new one!?'
'Uh... yah.  Sorry bout that.  Seen my gauntlets recently?'
'smacks forehead'

 ;D

My usual RP references Levrus a lot, but as far as actual favorite goes, I think probably Canyt Klannarr. She reminds me of Morrowind's Khajiit, except for third-person speech. Probably has a lot to do with her idea of 'personal property' I think.

And yeah, Raithen wins least-favorite for me, paws down. He threw me out a window once for being too pesky. :(

 The Petrified Kran

He seems to be the only NPC that truely has the most intelegent response..and has never/will never ask me to be more clear with my words:)

My favorite npc was my pet.  Not sure it if still is the case, but my pet somehow was a menki when he was supposed to be one of them baby gryphon things that the name escapes my mind at the moment.  I love bugs.  I named my menki pet "hairball".

Well I thought long and hard about this because there are so many new NPC's since my break I can't fairly say which is my favorite. I finally came to a decision but Bah .... neko bet me to it.

Favorite NPC: The Groffels/NPC pet.

Why?

(1) I own it, and it is all mine.
(2) How can you not love something that will fight beside you in a time of need.
(3) It knows my name.
(4) Looks to me to take care of it.
(5) Keeps me company.
(6) I can roleplay with it and have it do things such as send messages to friends/Foe's.
(7) The NPC pet follows me.

For now, I'm going with Relliom, because he wants you all dead and, I find I share that desire with him :P

Durok is my favorite. Because he's the only NPC that has heard of an "exploration guild". 8)
Nyshynn is runner up of course.

Not really the most favourites, but deserve being mentioned:

- Gordy Pumont. For his crude humour (already in the greeting, and especially in his quest).
- Burdess Quirain: She made her fortune, simply. And has a special hairdo.
- Grimal Bloodaxe: His most dangerous weapon today must be telling stories about good old days!
- the Grotemeys: The noisy couple, exactly on the border between love and hate

i'd have to say crystalized kran....because its at the bottom of a small pond, and there is no helping it....also my least favorite would have to be the infamous teleporting ulbernaut (before the new update you'd run, and it tele and kill you.... X-/

Definitions of petrified on the Web:

converted into stone
converted into a mineral; "petrified wood"
so frightened as to be unable to move; stunned or paralyzed with terror; "petrified with fear"; "she was petrified by the eerie sound"; "too numb with fear to move"

happy?

Thank you for telling me the facts of life ... uuhm, well, not that I would still be surprised about flowers and bees. ;)

So Loth's wife was "petrified to a salt column" when she turned around to look at Sodom and Gomorrha going down in fire and sulfur.

Leverus, by far the most interesting if you ask me. Almost everything in his shop is clickable and has a history of its own, not to mention hes over flowing with knowledge on... Well everything. In almost any quest where it requires you to find out about something, more then often I find leverus is your xacha. Intelligence, interesting house, sells glyphs, whats not to like?

lol its gotta be zak (strange decision for a Paladin im sure)

first time i talked to him i accused him of stealing the statue.. and he said "well there are also no guards down here" (or something like that)
just puts you right in your place

hes also extremly funny

and he trained me up to level 100 daggers

how can anyone dislike him?  ;D

How could anyone not respond to her pert "May Talad dump his chamber pot down your gullet!"
