Title: Forum moderator race question.

I've a question to address, and I realize the subject is probably abit polarizing at first glance, I think it will be reconsiled as cut and dry.  Are there any race restrictions for becoming a forum moderator, and if so why or why not? Specifically I am wondering if there are any forum rules regarding making cats moderators of forums.

Anyone (or thing if you prefer) can become a forum mod.  Requirements aren't that bad.  Must show dedication to the game. Must be active.  Must understand the English language, knowing more are a plus.  Must be liked by the majority of the current administration staff.  Don't ask to be a mod, we come to you.

So the point is that merely comprehending a language is enough, while being able to use it in a gramatically correct manner is not a requirement? :D

So if I get this right ... Having an extra hard-drive full of cat pictures or possessing knowledge of the entire Youtube collection, they're the extra skills that nailed the job for you? :P

Well, if you look at the history of Planeshift's global moderators...

"Mogura", "Karyuu", "neko kyouran"...

Obviously the conditions you need to meet before becoming a global moderator is to have a nick somehow associated with the Japanese...

...and have a strange obsession with the cats - even if the said creatures have no fur and look like vehement menace from outer space :S

It's true... I wouldn't be surprised to find that Planeshift is actually run by a cat-worshiping cult.
