I usually play thsi game with the option to load all maps and keep maps loaded options off. I read in one of the guides, that to help you with less loading time wjile in game, if you select the load all maps option, it will help. The problem is after I select that option and login, just before it finishes loading the game and about to enter the game world, I get a pop up that shuts down the loader. It is something called Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. I looked into what that is and downloaded what your tech website told me to. I did a search on the pop up and got a list of other people with the same problem. the thing isd, even though I installed a version of that download, I still egt the pop up and also another pop up explaing that runtime had to close for some reason, I didn't get all of the message, but it was something about the runtime closing early, or along those lines. Can anyone help me please.

I am not sure if its just a windows bug, but especially if you use windows. make sure you did not deselect preload models, I did that once and kept crashing as well. so make sure it's checked!

It already is checked, so what now?

you don't have the ram to use that option then. turn it off.

I have 1.00 GB Ram, surely that's sufficient

I have 1.00 GB Ram, surely that's sufficient
when you add in OS, and other programs, coupled with the size of the un-optimized map files PS is using due to the state of development the game is in, no, it is not.
-
So what would be a good sized ram to handle this.
-
double it.
or the easier solution is just to not use the load all maps option. all that does is save 30 seconds every time time you go between points where it has to load a new map.
given the fact that you surely don't change a new map every 5 minutes or less, is 30 seconds that long to wait?

I'm going to remove that option soon, as it's not worth having. So it's best to not use it.
