When i upgraded to Mac osx 10.5.1 the visual stuff got really messed up..........i can't even walk in a straight line anymore......trees run around........mountains move......and pie chase shovels........wuts up with that?!
anyone else got this problem???

does not matter if it was fine before, there are a few leopard bugs, but most from what i have seen are on PPC. are you on ppc or intel?? and have you tried what is listed in that post i linked to?

Yeah, I have this "hall of mirrors" bug too. Sky on the ojaroad and bronze doors is messed up. I have PowerMac G5 with Leopard.

hall of mirrors is a bug that has been there for a long time and is not a mac only bug

i did not ask if you were using an universal binary or not, i want to know what type of mac you are using PPC or intel.

you can NOT have both a PPC and intel machine in one. Please tell me if you have an intel or ppc if you do not i can not offer more help, and please follow the post i linked to [ the ati changes]

in order to post a pic you have to host it somewhere like imageshack.us also there is a modify button, use it dont double post.

Well sorry to say I do think it matters, for one it shows that the Mac update is cause of problem. Further it will also help to track down the problem.

I happen to know what the issue is and the fix, it was fine in tiger and is a leopard only bug in ppc, all that has to be done is follow the post i linked 2 times already in this thread. I have gone over this with Trymm and he knows this is the fix as he told me what it was. I dont care if it worked fine in a prior version as it is a leopard bug for now.

He is clearly saying he updated Leopard, [10.5.0.] to [10.5.1] I am asking if it worked before he updated , so where did you get the tiger from?

This is a problem for anyone running 10.5.~ it could or could not happen to anyone that upgraded from anything. It only happens to people that run on PPC. it does not really matter if he had tiger [that i assume he ment] or if he upgraded from 10.5 to 10.5.1 . As i dont have PPC i cant test this, but from what i recall Trymm was able to confirm on his PPC machine after he upgraded to leopard from tiger. Again Trymm has told me what has caused this and there is nothing anyone can do other then this patch right now to fix this problem. It is a bit technical and i will not get into the specifics of it on the forum or anywhere for that matter till Trymm has had time to see if there is any other way to get around this problem for people affected.
Right now again i will say this is a bug affecting anyone that runs 10.5 on PPC does not matter how they got to it, all they have to do is this change and the game should run fine for them.
I will not reply to this thread again untill the person that started it does the required fix. [that also means i will not reply to you with more questions about this, i have worked with Trymm on this and other issues recently so i know a bit more about what is causing some bugs in leopard then you do]

Well excuse for trying to share my 10 year Mac.s experience, and trying to clarify, a point I was not clear on, Also try to remember we are here to try and help, no matter how hard it is sometimes.
