Everything is fine til I go to create character. Most of the screen is fine but my character is monotoned and I can't choose to change eyes, hair, etc. After I finish customizing and upload avatar. I enter tutorial and everything is black. I can see my character and if I walk around I get to see npc's but there not very colorful and I can see items that they are holding.I can also talk to them and all the interfaces are fine e.g. chat window and tool bars. I can see colors outside the tutorial areas. All the buildings are black but I can see there outlines.Everything runs fine except the video and texture and color. I have an nvidia 8600gts with latest drivers. All other games are fine as well as desktop and internet. I am really stumped.Tried chaging video settings in vid card and options in game itself.Any help would be most appreciated as this looks like a real fun and interesting game. Thank you in advance:

your current video card drivers do not support / handle OpenGL.
because this game is cross platform, we use OpenGL (becuase it is also cross platform) to handle graphical stuffs.
what version does it say you are running for your graphics drivers, and also what OS are you using?

thnx for replying. I was doing some research since I figured it was a vid card prob most likely. To answer your questions... OS XP SP2 Pro vid drivers 6.14.11.6371 nvidia 8600GT.
I dld a program to test open gl and there was a lot of problem's.The card supports opengl though. But I did dld new drivers and I just realized that the present drivers may not be official.
DUH!!So i will take old off and then install new 69.73 from nvidia site.It does state they contain up to minute support for both directx and opengl. So I have my fingers crossed>Thanks very much and if u have anything to add that could be of help please let me know. Thanks MIKEY. ::)
*edit*
Neko sorry just an afterthought. What version of OpenGl do u use? Thnx once more

i have opengl 2.1.2 and the newest nvidia drivers 169.21 but i have a much older card, a geforce 7800gs tho no problems like yours... maybe try and update your motherboard drivers, sometimes that's where the problem lies too
