Hi there. My problem is rather baffling to me. When opening PS the load bar runs at near light speed and then suddenly everything bogs down as I enter the main screen. When creating a character I could see nothing but a completely undetailed blob of what looked like the general outline of a humanoid - made up of differently colored splotches. When I was able to get through the char creation process - lag which makes one want to murder children present throughout - and the game just finished loading I got this error message "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0216600B"
My system specs are as follows
Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz
2.00 GB RAM
Display adapter type Radeon X1300 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)
Total available graphics memory 1019 MB
Dedicated graphics memory 256 MB
Dedicated system memory 0 MB
Shared system memory 763 MB

Go into your PlaneShift Setup and make sure the Preload Models option is checked.

I checked the option and while it now allows me into the tutorial, there is still no textures to anything and the lag is still suicide worthy.

Have you installed your latest graphics drivers from ATI's website? And I do realize you're using Vista.

Don't need to look far for this, you are still using the default MS Vid card drivers, they don't supprt OpenGL, go to www.ati.com to get the latest drivers
