I noticed that the PS population is kind of small (150-200ish concurrent users, making it a mini-MMO...heck I think BF2 allowed, uh, 128 players?) so I thought of some ways to increase the population. Uh, actually I just thought of one idea, and that's logging in to other forums and then joining the discussion and then plugging PS. :)
I can't think of any other ideas (PS spam?), do you guys know some ways we could market this game to more people? Maybe send in some letters to magazines to get reviews? Or even sending in letters to game-sites online to get some press?

150 to 200 users online at the same time on decent hours, which is not bad at all for a world this size in my opinion. It's not the total number of players. ;)
I think it's great you're so commited to the game from the start but you really should read up a bit about this game and get some experience before starting all these threads. :P Planeshift is focussed on Roleplay, which means it's not just a game for everyone. There are plenty of players and new ones showing up all the time but many probably don't stick to this game because it's not your typical MMORPG.

As much as it is hated when other MMO's come in here spamming there advertisements, I would expect other sites would hate it just as much if you did that to their forums.

umm... neko?

Yes it's a call for modellers, not players, but that's how I found PS

Umm... Huget? He distinctly referred to forums of other MMO's.

No I didn't! I just said other forums. Not necessarily MMO forums...

His post was directed towards Neko...
