I agree with Ravette, Trune...  This is the Community\'s current stance on \"1337 sp34k\".  It is most certainly worth reading.

I hereby add my support to the \'stop the damn leet nonsence\' campaign. I\'m afraid all the leet speak does for me is make me pre-judge you and put you in a category of people that I don\'t particularly want to mix with - wrong of me I know, I don\'t even know you :(

(I don\'t even know what MRCY LRU is supposed to be, just short hand I\'m guessing - I guess one point is that Planshift is a roleplay world and nothing would ruin an RP atmosphere quicker than some guy running around spouting leet).

Ahhh yes, guess I won\'t impose on the 1337 speek anymore..

As for MRCY LRU speak it means (Next Key) speak..
Like you press the next key on ever letter instead of normal typing.

Hi = Jo
Hey = Jru
What\'s Up? Ejsyd I[
It\'s even more annoying due to the fact you can\'t read it, haha, hope this doesn\'t start a random act of n00b screaming the next keys...

Edit: Haha, I just have to make one more thing,
if you lot have ever seen it before or not..
