I am literally very new, in download right now, i decided to look at the forums, the game i used to play was called runescape, and they had forums too, the compliment i have is that everyone here has incredibly better typing skills then people in rs. people there mispell over half their words and never have a great point or argument. also rs didnt have so many smileys :whistling:

I always find it funny that so many people from planeshift hate runescape and vice versa. Never found out why but a lot of players I've known just despise that game. Not saying I like it though :P

I tried Runescape once for about five minutes...
The NPC interface was horrid. The game was laggy. Yes, even more than PS. The graphics were corny. And the first person I met had more numbers in their name than letters and talked in cell phone shorthand.

I was a beta tester for that game. at the time there were 50 of us and we had the one small part of the world to ourselves. everyone was mature and helpful to others, and used real words to communicate with.

thanks for the compliment, we do try to pride ourselves on being able to spell around here. sadly, we're of a dying breed it seems. I blame human nature to be lazy and find shortcuts to everything, and instant messenger programs.

I've played lots of MMORPGs, and the fact is that almost everyone hates runescape except the ones who played and liked it. Oberin hates runescape. Tibia hates runescape. Planeshift (I guess) hates runescape. Runescape has the evilest community I've ever seen and heard of. Didn't keep me from wasting a year of my life in it... some people play addictive things simply cause they're addictive.

Tell me to me, I've got a friend that has the mind in Runescape. I say It's not fun to have one of those because, the minimal thing you say about PS he keeps criticizing.. :@#\ He keps saying: "PS is crap because It's not finished, what you prefer, a game that is finished or a game in development" oh and the "runescape is more real"... and just see his face when you are talking about PS, oh but when he talks about "I cut now yews because i got 77 Woodcutting, I got 62 STR, I will be member" no problem... Even he said about a war of both worlds!!! no way :o EVIL EVIL!. I don't know why did I show him Planeshift. At least I keep his "attacking words" far if we talk about something else :-X.
I also played runescape but it was boring so here I am
Edit: sorry that I have posted on an old thread, but I needed to take all this bad thing out of me.
