Title: screen problem

when i start the game the window is too tall for my screen(widescreen) so the bottom is cut off, and when i click it scrolls down so the top is cut off. i tried changing my rez. but it didnt work and i cant resize the window. what should i do?

What you need to do is to go into the properties of your desktop and make sure that you are not using a virtual resolution that is different than your screen res. You probably have an entry in your xorg.conf (probably /etc/X11/xorg.conf) in the display subsection that says Virtual with x and y values. If so try commenting it out and see if that solves your problem. You will need to restart the X server if it is running when you do this.

there isnt a vertual in there

Try to reduce a bit your Font scaling OR play in windowed mode and resize your window  :) (open pssetup which is in your planeshift folder)

You don't say which distribution you are using or what desktop, that option may be set elsewhere in one of the configuration tools provided by the particular distribution. The above suggestion would be another way to go.
