Title: What's wrong with the crafting system?

[I'm playing a Kran who has trained the theory in all skills needed for crafting. my char got a mastercrafted hammer, all books and heated steel ingots and stocks. but whatever he tries to do at the anvil, there always comes the message up: "this is a bit beyond your skills at the moment". since weeks I am asking people in the game how to start crafting. they are all telling me the same but it doesn't work. ARE YOU SURE THAT THERE IS NO BUG IN THE GAME? a few days ago I've listened to a main chat near Harnquist: another player had the same problems like me. and nobody could help him.]

have you read http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=28189.0 ?? crafting does work but you need the right books for each step and the right levels to make the item you want.

Try a regular hammer. Just to see what happens.
