Title: Profile Change

Hi folks,


a few days ago I met a guy named Kundalf;) in PS. Now since I use this name in the Forums and I\'d like to avoid any confusion, I also registered for Thorgalf (my ingame name) and will use this name for further mails in the forum, as soon as this Account (Kundalf) is deletetd...

Any idea how to do that ?

I tryed the delete button in the profile menu, but it didn\'t work...well...any idea, what to do ?

Why don\'t you just find out who stole your name and tell them to get a new one?

well actually he didn\'t steal the name I only use Kundalf for the forums....
In game I\'m Thorgalf, so he just has the name Kundalf ingame.....
...but that may lead to confusion...;)

well, is Kundalf a popular name or something? or did the person try to steal your name but did not know you used a different one?

yeah, unless Kundalf is from a story or something, someone must have seen your forum name and thought it was cool so they made their ingame name Kundalf.  If you want to change, that\'s fine, but I still think that dude shouldn\'t have stolen your name (even if you don\'t use it ingame)

Hey, if a name is not taken it\'s free game. No-one owns the name. Not even the game owners. AT least not till it\'s registered. So I think it would be free game.

That\'s not the point...and if you do sign up on the board and use it in-game too, it is your name, no one elses and it should not be taken...unless it is not an original name

Ah I see, so it\'s a matter of principle. I understand that. And I respect that.

But I was just saying I believe it should be ok. to use a name that some one may have been using in game but is not registered in the forums. I myself don\'t use my game name in the forums (for various reasons).

So I understand and respect that. But like I said, I still think It should be ok... but I would never do it on purpose... talk to the guy about it dude.
