Title: Win XP - netman.dll / msvcp7.dll

OS : Win XP
Planeshift Version: 2nd tech demo

first when i tried to run the updater.exe it said missing MSVCP7.DLL .. i just found one of these in another directory (MS Office 10) and put it into ./planeshift/

then it gave me this other error.

when running updater.exe after fixing MSVCP7.DLL

\"The preocedure entry point HrLanConnectionNameFromGuidOrPath could not be located in the dynamic link library netman.dll\"

this error also comes up when trying to upload my character after i have finished creating the stats in psclient.exe


on both psclient.exe & updater.exe compatability is set to 95/98

are there any pre-requisite installs? such as .NET Framework(MSVCP7.DLL?), or any other dll\'s, service packs, updates?

This is a very strange error.  I would check the date stamp and size of your DLL (the msvcp7.dll one) with others and make sure you have the right thing.

Goto the PlaneShift folder. Copy Netman.dll and made a back up of it. Now goto C:\\Windows\\Sytem32 and copy that Netman.dll file. Paste it in the PlaneShift folder and overwrite the current Netman.dll file(Make sure you have this file backed up).
