Title: There is no Furnace in the taturial

As it says in the name. Neave tells me to use the furnace behind her, but there is nothing behind her but a wall. there is no. I have restarted the game sometimes, i have made a new char and still the same problem. Any way... hoping for some help here. thanks in advance

ok i have redownloaded from anothere mirror, reinstalled and still there is no furnace behind Neave, i have the ore I was told to drop and pick it up.. done that... i am told to put it in the furnace and wait til it melts ect... but there is no furnace behind her.

Please some one help... what time do GMs come online... have had a petition open for a long time now.

oh good, I'm not the only one with this problem.  I've been trying to figure this out for the past 40 min.  There is no furnace. 

Updater version I have is 1.1.1.1 and doesn't connect to any of the update mirrors.

So, I'm not sure if I have the latest version.  I have version 0.3.020 thats on my log in screen.

You do have the latest version.  Don't use the updater please, it kind've doesn't work.

Ouch thats a long time to wait.  I just installed the game about couple of hours ago. Couldn't wait to play it...but that damn furnace...

Tuxide, thanks for the heads up on the updater...I won't use it until it's ready.

I would just like to pont out that GM's like the rest of the PS team are volunteers and unfortunately are currently most are in GMT+0 timezone so we do have periods without GM cover, so please be patient and remember we are still in heavy development.

Temporary furnace added, and molten ore made using said furnace. You should be able to continue the tutorial now.

Thanks Rizin, I got through the furnace part of the tutorial.  But now I can't seam to get through the weapons training part.  I just cant even kill the rat.  Every time I try to attack the rat it says "impervious" but I tried 7 different times at 7 different times of the day with the same thing. Looking through some post it has something to do with the server be down or something but, has the server been down all day? Or do I just have bad timing?

I don't know, a tutorial shouldn't be this difficult to complete.  I'm on 3+ hours of trying to play this game but just can't.  I know it's in alpha and all and I know it's a spare time thing but this is too much work for me (or any new person trying this game) just to get though a tutorial.  I guess I'm just a little frustrated. Maybe I'll try the game again in a couple of months because this game does look like fun.

I thought it was possible to skip that step.  Try saying "skip this step" to Ihbaar.

Well, I actually wanted to see what happens in combat but I'll try what you said to move along in the tutorial.
